Mulching

We offer comprehensive mulching and land clearance services
specialising in scrub clearance, using a host of machinery including
excavator mounted mulching heads on low ground pressure sensitive
tracks, tracked/wheeled tractor based mulching and our nimble remote
controlled robotic Mulcher able to operate at 55degrees.
Tractor Mulching
Tractor Mulching is a land clearing method that uses a single machine to cut, grind, and clear the land. We use mulching for land clearing projects. MCS uses forestry mulchers on our excavators and tractors, which are machines that use a rotary drum equipped with flails to shred vegetation. By processing trees and other vegetation where they stand, mulching machines eliminate many of the steps involved in land clearing such as site prep, cutting/felling/hauling, and site cleanup.
This also eliminates the need for multiple machines. On simpler jobs, only one mulching machine is required, reducing fuel requirements and emissions. Our Robotic flail also has the ability to operate on steep slopes up to 55° and in small or tight areas, in poor ground conditions, and in wet or snowy weather. Mulching machines are capable of clearing land of unwanted trees and brush with limited disturbance to soils or desirable vegetation.
